Release 2025.2 (STS) : More Power for E-Invoice, REST-API & Containers
With our latest release 2025.2, we’re introducing a wide range of enhancements and new features that make everyday work noticeably easier. Process designers benefit from new design options, developers from modern interfaces, and administrators from a more flexible infrastructure.
Our highlights this time: Extended options in modern forms, the next generation of our REST API, and running JobRouter® in containers!
Although this is our STS release, we have been able to implement numerous innovations this time around. JobRouter® has been modernized in many areas, offering improvements for process designers, users, and administrators. We are very well positioned for the future, and our customers can look forward to what 2026 has in store!

Data Sources for Modern Forms: More Flexibility Without Coding
Process designers can now use fixed lists and data from JobData tables directly in modern forms – without writing a single line of SQL. This makes forms not only more flexible, but also easier to maintain.
A practical example: Instead of selecting street and house number or ZIP code and city separately, these values can now be combined in a single dropdown – for example as a complete address. The result: Cleaner forms that make data entry much easier for end users.
Even better: Along with data sources, we’re also introducing new elements such as hidden fields and enhanced dropdowns.
REST API v3 with OpenAPI Standard
Version 3 of the REST API is now available for developers and integrators. It makes integrations simpler, faster, and more modern:
- New routes: Processes can now be started more easily, even in large volumes.
- OpenAPI documentation: Thanks to a standardized, automatically generated specification, developers can build their own REST clients more quickly and securely.
- Parallel operation: REST API v2 remains available – so existing integrations continue running smoothly.
The result: Faster connections, fewer error sources, and the best foundation for future developments.
Enhancements for JobMind powered by Parashift
Our intelligent document processing solution JobMind has also received new features:
- Document splitting: Automatically separate batches of scanned documents (e.g., PDFs) into individual documents.
- Recipient-based supplier recognition: More precise recognition by only considering relevant suppliers.
- Full-text and log return: Process designers gain more transparency by reviewing recognition steps and results in detail.
This gives users even more flexibility to create perfectly automated document workflows – whether for incoming mail or invoice verification.
E-Invoice System Activity: More Control Over Electronic Invoices
With more than 20 years of expertise in digital invoice processing, we also deliver significant advantages for electronic invoicing. And e-invoicing is here to stay: With Release 2025.2, JobRouter® E-Invoice now offers more options for validation and control:
- Invoice type detection: Check upfront whether a file is a valid e-invoice.
- Schematron validation report: Detailed reports make it easier to identify errors and take targeted action.
This ensures process designers always stay in control of their incoming invoices.
Running JobRouter® in Containers
A real highlight for administrators: JobRouter® can now run directly in containers. This comes with multiple benefits:
- Simplified administration: Updates and downgrades can be performed in just a few steps.
- Faster updates: By separating static content (in containers) from dynamic content (in file storage), update times are significantly reduced.
- More flexibility: Container images are centrally provided and can be seamlessly integrated into existing environments.
