JobRouter® is designed for seamless DocuWare integration and provides numerous interfaces to the integrated archive and all DMS features of the system. These interfaces use DocuWare-certified APIs and are available on both the server side and the client side. On the client side, JobRouter® can embed the DocuWare Full Client and the DocuWare Web Client, allowing DocuWare documents and result lists to be integrated seamlessly into JobRouter® electronic forms.

The integration is handled through user interfaces in JobRouter®, where data such as DocuWare archives or index fields is made available. The process designer can configure these interfaces quickly and easily. In this setup, the JobDW service acts as a background service through which DocuWare actions such as storing, copying, deleting, or indexing documents can be executed automatically.

This makes your DocuWare document archive even more powerful with end-to-end JobRouter® workflow features.

System-side actions via the JobDW service

All system-side actions in DocuWare, such as storing documents or modifying index data, are executed by the JobDW service via the DocuWare GAPI interface (up to DocuWare 6.6) or the Platform Services interface (from DocuWare 6.7 onward). The service can work with multiple DocuWare installations and multiple organizations.

Full Support for DocuWare Cloud

JobRouter® supports the “DocuWare Cloud” offering starting with version 4.3.7. This allows the same DocuWare interface functions to be used directly from JobRouter® as with the on-premises version. Access is possible both from a local JobRouter® installation and from the JobRouter® Cloud, enabling hybrid or fully cloud-based application scenarios.
