SAP-Integration : Data Synchronization Between SAP and JobRouter®

With the SAP data-synchronisation interface, you can mirror information from SAP—such as employee master data or vendor master data—into the JobRouter® environment.

This data can be queried and used directly from JobRouter® workflows without requiring a direct connection to SA - for example, through a simple SQL SELECT statement. Your own applications can also use this information whenever needed.

The Integration consists of a function module that is installed in SAP™ as well as an application that can be installed on a Windows server. Using an RFC connection, you can schedule data synchronization cyclically, for example via a Windows task, or trigger it directly from JobRouter® using the Shell Execute system activity.

The data to be retrieved can be limited using filter criteria. For example, it is possible to retrieve only the master data of a specific company code. Data transfer always takes place only in the direction of JobRouter®. Data in the SAP system is not modified. For direct calls of BAPIs, the SAP extension is available.

SAP Data Synchronization for End-to-End Automated Workflows

With the SAP interface, you can easily execute SAP transactions within your workflows, such as pre-entering or posting an invoice. In addition, you can use the audit-proof JobRouter® archive for your SAP installation and automatically archive documents in the JobRouter® archives via the corresponding SAP archive interface.

Using the JobSAP add-on modules, JobRouter® workflows can access data or execute transactions in SAP. These workflows can be modeled independently of SAP, so SAP access is not required for the users involved.

Map Any Use Case with JobSAP

JobSAP modules offer various predefined scenarios for communication, for example invoice verification. From data entry and the related approvals through to the creation of an invoice record in SAP, JobRouter® users can directly access SAP data, such as vendors or inventory stock.

Call SAP Transactions Directly from the Workflow

Using special workflow steps, any SAP transaction can be triggered in any business process, and the feedback returned can be used within the workflow. Configuration is very simple through data mapping in the process designer—even without prior programming knowledge.

Direct Access to Data in SAP

To retrieve data and information from SAP in real time and make it available to the user, JobRouter® provides an additional element. Using the SAP interface for transaction transfer, you can retrieve or validate data in forms directly from SAP.

Synchronization of Data Sets

Large volumes of data that you want to use in JobRouter® workflows and applications can easily be synchronized to the JobRouter® platform on a scheduled basis using the SAP data synchronization module.

Archiving Documents from SAP

Thanks to support for the SAP archive interface, JobRouter® archives can be seamlessly connected to your SAP system and provide audit-proof archiving of your documents.
