The latest JobRouter® release celebrates JobRouter's 20th anniversary and is designed to meet the needs of many JobRouter® customers and partners. With JobRouter® 2023.1, users can now copy rules and access Git integration as an extension of JobSync. Email also gets a makeover and is clearer. Compliance and governance are important to us: The automated logout now fulfills another point of the session management specified by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). The release awaits you with further innovations such as colors in process categories, export of multiple pages of archive views and support for .NET 6.0.

New layout for emails
The web setup introduced in JobRouter® 3.0 has been completely redesigned with the new release. A new look with improved user guidance simplifies the initial setup of the JobRouter® web application. Configuration steps that are not mandatory, such as creating a JobStart or JobMail configuration, are completely omitted in the setup. As before, they can still be configured in the administrative JobRouter® settings after setup.

The feature most in demand by the end of 2022 is making its way into the JobRouter® platform: Git integration. This outsources code work to external code editors that are optimized for the respective programming language and offer many advantages.
The new version delivers the connection to the code management Git within JobSync module. PHP functions and JavaScripts in the process designer, as well as files in the data and functions directories are supported. Synchronize these process components once into a repository and then program code in an editor of your choice. Git integration takes care of synchronizing the repository with your JobRouter® installation.

Automated logout from the JobRouter® application complies with a BSI standard for session management. This supports your compliance requirements for the platform to make your applications even more secure. If required, this new feature can be activated and the duration of a session can be configured globally. Users get an indication of the remaining session duration. The duration can be updated automatically with each activity or manually by users. When the session duration expires, logout occurs automatically.

Among the top three most requested feature ideas is also the copying of rules in processes. With 2023.1, users can copy any number of rules from one step to another using the push or pull principle. The configuration of the copied rules remains unaffected. This makes it easier, more efficient, and error-free for users to use business rules that are used multiple times.
