Frequently asked questions about automatic document recognition

How does the JobMind Cloud learning mechanism work?

We use a central AI model to extract data. Your documents and those of all our other customers go into a pool of training data records that will be used for future model versions. The training data records are recorded automatically using the JobRouter® user interface.

Do I need additional software to use JobMind Cloud?

No. JobMind Cloud can be licensed with any JobRouter® installation without any installation charge. 

What kinds of documents does JobMind Cloud recognize?

JobMind Cloud accurately recognizes incoming invoices. Other kinds of document are being planned for the P2P (purchase-to-pay) sector.  

What are the areas of application for JobMind Cloud?

JobMind Cloud OCR technology has been used for incoming invoices and can supplement any invoice auditing process with data extraction. The function seamlessly integrates the process flow and supports the recording of invoice data. 

What is the AI technology underpinning JobMind Cloud?

JobMind Cloud is not a proprietary OCR solution. It is a service which unifies the leading OCR solutions on the market in a central platform. We select the best OCR solution depending on the application scenario to ensure that you always obtain the best result.  

JobMind Cloud also fits seamlessly with existing processes such as the JobRouter® process flow. This means that JobMind Cloud data extraction can be activated by previous processes or initiate subsequent ones. By using your master data to extract invoice data, JobMind Cloud recognizes vendor numbers, for example, so that partial authorization can be enabled for invoice auditing.
