Improved archive functions & more flexible escalations

With the introduction of the new JobRouter release cycle, you can look forward to four releases this year. With the new version 2022.1, you will benefit from faster processing time and improved access to JobRouter® archives. In addition, you can use conditions to design your escalations with maximum flexibility and respond to process-specific situations. Additional features of the new version include: JobRouter® Mobile App allows for push notifications, and JobRouter® Sign is equipped with electronic seals. In the background, we have also rejuvenated the code base and made some technical refinements.
The most important innovations at a glance
Improvements for JobArchive
JobArchive is the integrated document archive of JobRouter® and contains the full-text search Elasticsearch since version 5.2. With release 2022.1, all search results from a full-text search are additionally evaluated and assigned a relevance score. Users can sort the results by relevance and thus find the desired document faster. For this, simply add the new "Relevance" system field in any archive view.
JobViewer 2 can now also process previous and subsequent pages of the current document. This allows you to seamlessly jump back and forth between different pages without delay. You now have the option of navigating archive views using the keyboard. JobRouter® 2022.1 emphasizes the readability of entries for screen readers so that everyone can fully use the archive views. This feature is an essential step towards optimizing the accessibility of the JobRouter® platform.
To create an archive result list, storing a username in the URL is no longer necessary. Instead, users enter their login credentials. The result list opens to the context of the archive profile and allows multiple employees to use the links to the result lists simultaneously.

Similar to the rules, conditions for step escalations are now also taken into account. Modify your escalation actions with the condition that suits you. This way, you can avoid duplicate actions and multiple definitions of escalations. In addition, you can react dynamically to current events and configure custom-fit reactions.

Electronic seals for JobRouter® Sign
With JobRouter® Sign - the module for electronic signatures - it is now possible to use electronic seals. Electronic seals can be used by legal entities to "seal" documents so that the authenticity and integrity of the information are secured and verifiable. In contrast, electronic signatures are associated only with a natural person. Similarly, you can integrate electronic seals into JobRouter® processes in the same way as electronic signatures, and you can combine both, which allows for automatically sealing documents.

This system activity enables JobRouter® processes to export, add, change and delete data and documents from SharePoint. Your advantages: central storage of business information in SharePoint and uniform access.
