Create and edit documents together on screen / central platform controls tasks and manages rights and role management / digital editing, archiving and signature from a single source
Mannheim, 29 May 2018 - Under the motto "Digital Office", JobRouter AG, a globally active provider of a cross-industry low-code platform for comprehensive business digitization, and smartwork solutions GmbH from Munich are pooling their expertise with the web-based, collaborative word processing application SMASHDOCs. The aim is to provide tailor-made process solutions for the joint creation, processing and archiving of digital documents and content via a central interface.
SMASHDOCs is a web-based, collaborative word processing application that can be easily integrated into existing system landscapes and thus ensures that content can be edited and released together at any time and from any location, while tracking document changes always remains clear and up-to-date.
"We absolutely wanted to combine this innovative functionality with the JobRouter platform," explains Axel Ensinger, Chief Product Officer at JobRouter AG. "Our platform is web-based and offers with the REST API the possibility to connect other systems quickly and efficiently.
We are very good at mapping company-wide workflows, managing rights and roles in an agile way and managing documents in a revision-proof manner. With SMASHDOCs, we have now integrated a system that greatly simplifies and raises to a new level the workflow of working together on documents".
SMASHDOCs offers a feature-rich working environment that can be used to create new documents or upload a template. The familiar formatting tools are then available. The system automatically saves all changes and highlights those that are new to a user. This does not result in dozens of document versions, but all proposed changes and decisions are managed in one document. JobRouter informs the affected employees about changes that have been made, distributes pending tasks accordingly and enables the document to be exported in the desired corporate design and signed by internal and external parties. This significantly reduces the time and effort involved in creating, approving and finalizing a document. The user works in one interface at all times, so that media breaks can be avoided.
SMASHDOCs by Smartwork Solutions GmbH
SMASHDOCs is a web-based word processing application for collaborative document creation, review, and collaboration. SMASHDOCs does not constantly create new document versions during the process, but stores all change proposals, decisions and comments in a single document. If there are new changes for a user, SMASHDOCs automatically highlights them for him. SMASHDOCs simplifies and accelerates the process considerably (up to 10 times faster than MS Word), because versions no longer have to be managed and because manual version comparisons and proofreading are completely eliminated for new changes.
